Itinerary
Day 1
Your journey begins with a transfer to the airport for your flight from Ambon to Ternate. After arriving in Ternate, you will start exploring this historic spice island.
The first visit is the Kedaton Sultan Ternate, the royal palace of the Sultanate of Ternate, where you can learn about the powerful history of the spice trade and the sultanate era.
The trip continues to Fort Kalamata, a historic fortress located by the sea with views of nearby islands. Afterwards, you will visit the peaceful Danau Ngade, known for its calm scenery and beautiful reflections of Mount Gamalama.
After the tour, you will check in at your hotel and relax for the evening.
Day 2
Today you will explore the natural and historical highlights around Ternate Island. The day begins with a visit to Castella Fort, one of the earliest Portuguese forts in the region.
You will then continue to the famous Tolire Lake, a dramatic volcanic lake surrounded by steep cliffs and local legends.
Next, you will visit Jikomalamo Beach, one of the best spots in Ternate for swimming and snorkeling, known for its clear water and coral reefs.
After lunch, the tour continues to Batu Angus, a unique landscape formed by ancient volcanic lava flows. You will also visit several historic forts including Fort Tolukko and Fort Oranje. Before returning to the hotel, you will experience the atmosphere of the local market and stop at the iconic Tara No Ate, a well-known Souvenir shop in Ternate city . Return to the hotel.
Day 3
After breakfast, you will take a boat crossing to the nearby island of Tidore Island, another important center of the historic spice trade. Your first stop is the Spanish Landing Monument, marking the historic arrival of Spanish explorers. The journey continues to Mareku Village, an important historical village connected to early global exploration history. You will also visit historic forts such as Tahula Fort and Torre Fort, while enjoying scenic views of the island.
During the tour, you will see traditional Tidore weaving, visit the local market, and explore the Kedaton Tidore, the royal palace of the Tidore Sultanate.
The journey continues to Gurabunga Village, a beautiful highland village known for its culture and views, followed by a visit to a sago village to learn about traditional sago processing.
After the tour in Tidore island, head back to Ternate and return to your hotel
Day 4
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight to Ambon. Upon arrival in Ambon, our team will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.
This is the end of the service and we’ll see you again on the next tour.
